Display Advertising
Our most popular form of advertising, our advertisers enjoy the quality of a digitally produced publication with full color capabilities.
While nearly all of the other publications in our area are printed on newsprint, The Village Voice of Ottawa Hills is printed on 50# Finch Opaque white offset smooth paper. The result is ads that are sharper, and colors that are brighter, crisper, and more vivid.
Ad space and color reservations are needed by the 8th of the month prior to publication. If you have missed this deadline, please contact us at 419.537.0286 to see if we have space available.
Mechanical Requirements:
- All photos must be 300 dpi
- All color ads must be CMYK
- Production-ready ads submitted electronically must PDFs
- 1 column = 2.3125"
- 2 columns = 4.875"
- 3 columns = 7.5"
Insert Advertising
Have a flyer you need to distribute? Maybe coupons for an upcoming sale? Perhaps you have some promotional materials that were part of a bigger advertising campaign or branding-effort, and you want to reach the Ottawa Hills market. Insert advertising could be the answer!
Aside from offering flexibility of design – our only mechanical restrictions are size limitations – inserts are great for individuals or organizations who wait until the last minute to spend their advertising dollars. Deadlines for inserts are much later than for display and classified advertising. Single page inserts cost $205. Additional pages for the same advertisement cost $100 each.
We reserve the right to refuse inserts based upon inappropriate size, design, or message. While our deadlines are very generous, it is best to provide us with a copy prior to production to avoid rejection. All inserts must be pre-paid.
Mechanical Requirements:
- Inserts must be no larger than 8.5" by 11"
and no smaller than 8" x 10"
